Prior to each game throughout the 2013-14 USC Aiken men's
basketball season, the sports information office will produce game
notes.
Below is a link to the latest set of notes, which covers the NCAA
National Semifinal game against West Liberty Thursday at 9:30 p.m.
EST.
The contest against the Hilltoppers is the second national
semifinal of the day. The winner will take on either Metro State or
Central Missouri in the NCAA Division II National Championship
Saturday at 3 p.m., EST.
Earlier in the week, Ronald Zimmerman was named an All-American by
the NABC.
The Pacers clinched their spot in their first-ever Final Four with
a 15-point victory over Chico State in the NCAA Elite Eight
Wednesday evening, 85-70. West Liberty overcame a nine-point
deficit in the first half en route to its 10-point win over
defending national champion Drury 85-75.
The game will be video streamed and the USC Aiken broadcasting
tandem of Kyle Dawson and Nick Terry will be calling the game. To

It marks the first time in history that the Pacers and Hilltoppers
have ever met.

2014 marks the 58th year of the NCAA Division II Men's Basketball
"Elite Eight" Championship.
The "Elite Eight" started in March 1957 at Evansville's Roberts
Stadium as the NCAA College Division Championship.
The city of Evansville has hosted this championship for 21 years
from 1957 to 1976, 2002 and this year 2014.
