AIKEN, S.C. – The No. 10 University of South Carolina Aiken men's basketball team garnered the top spot in the initial regional rankings for the Southeast Region.

The Pacers currently sport a 22-3 mark on the season, including a 14-1 mark in Peach Belt Conference play.

USC Aiken leads the PBC East Division with the mark.

In the region, the Pacers are followed by Lincoln Memorial. Montevallo, GRU Augusta and Anderson round out the top five. Georgia Southwestern, Mount Olive, Limestone, Carson-Newman and Newberry complete the regional rankings.

Last season, USC Aiken hosted and won the three-day region tournament while en route to a spot in the program's first-ever Elite Eight appearance.
