KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The University of
South Carolina Aiken men's basketball team is 20th
in the NABC/Division II Rankings, as announced Thursday.
Head coach Vince Alexander's team is coming off a 33-4
campaign, including an 18-1 mark against PBC foes. The Pacers made
their second consecutive Elite Eight appearance and advanced to
their first-ever Final Four. The squad won the PBC regular season
and tournament titles in addition to claiming its second straight
Southeast Regional Championship.
USC Aiken was also selected 10th in the Sporting
News Preseason Top 10 and Basketball Times Preseason Top 20 and was
mentioned as a “Team to Watch” in the Division II
Bulletin Preseason Top 25 and .
The Pacers open their season Nov. 14 at 6 p.m., when they take on
Mount Olive in Wilson, N.C. USC Aiken hosts Southern Wesleyan in
its home opener on Tuesday, Nov. 18 at 7 p.m.
