AIKEN, S.C. – The University of South Carolina Aiken is pleased to announce the Kenny Thomas Baseball Camp for kids with special needs will be held on Saturday, Oct. 4 at Roberto Hernandez Field.

The event will take place from 9-11 a.m., with check-in beginning at 8:30 a.m.

Coach Thomas will speak with the group. After that, it will be followed by drills in stretching, running, throwing, ground balls, fly balls and hitting off a tee – and all with assistance from a “buddy” that will work with each camper.

The camp wraps up with a fun baseball game that will showcase the campers using the skills they have learned.

Snacks and drinks will be provided throughout the morning with a free lunch at 11 a.m. The meal is courtesy of AMBUCS.

All campers will receive a USC Aiken baseball t-shirt.
