FLORENCE, S.C. – In a battle of nationally-ranked teams in the quarterfinals of the Peach Belt Conference Men's Tennis Championship, second-seeded/nationally seventh-ranked Lander bested seventh-seeded/national No. 30 USC Aiken, 5-0, at the Dr. Eddie Floyd Florence Tennis Center.
USC Aiken (11-7) with its loss to Lander (14-2) will now take on sixth-seeded Francis Marion in the elimination bracket at 8 a.m. on Saturday, April 13. Third-seeded Columbus State downed Francis Marion, 5-0, in the quarterfinals.
