AIKEN, S.C. – University of South Carolina Aiken eighth-year head coach Sue Vodicka unveiled the 2012 USC Aiken women's soccer schedule on Tuesday, May 29, 2012.

The 2012 Pacer women's soccer schedule features a strong non-conference and Peach Belt Conference schedule to go along with two games against NCAA Division I foes. USC Aiken will have seven regular season contests inside the friendly confines of the "Pacer Pit."

"I am really excited about the challenge of playing two Division I teams this year," noted Vodicka. "As always we play in an extremely tough league, but I feel that our really tough non-conference schedule will prepare us for the rigors of conference play."

The Pacers will open their 2012 regular season slate at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 30 against Newberry. The Pacers have picked up two straight wins over the Wolves.

USC Aiken will then hit the road for the first time in 2012 for its first-ever meeting with NCAA Division I foe VMI of the Big South Conference. The Pacers and Keydets are scheduled to kick things off in Lexington, Va. at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 1.

The fourth-ever meeting between the two teams is scheduled to take place at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 4.

The Pacers will then close out their three-game road swing with a contest against Brevard at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 8 in Brevard, N.C. The Pacers have claimed two straight wins over Brevard.

The Pacers will then travel to St. Augustine, Fla. for a conference game against Flagler on Wednesday, Oct. 3. The contest is scheduled to begin at 5 p.m.
