MISENHEIMER, N.C. – The nationally 33rd-ranked University of South Carolina Aiken men's tennis team obtained its second straight shutout victory in a 5-0 road blanking of Pfeiffer on Wednesday at the Knapp Tennis Center.
USC Aiken (8-6) has now won three of its last four matches.
The Pacers had hardly any trouble with Pfeiffer (5-13) on Wednesday, easily claiming the three doubles matches.
USC Aiken then quickly claimed the match with easy wins at No. 4 and No. 5 singles.
The USC Aiken men and women will next close out their regular seasons with two Peach Belt Conference matches.
The Pacer men and women will first welcome Georgia College to the USC Aiken Tennis Complex for their final home match of the year at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 14.
USC Aiken will then close the curtains on its regular season with a road league men's and women's tennis match against Georgia Southwestern in Americus, Ga. on Sunday, April 15. The matches are set to begin at 2 p.m.
