AIKEN, S.C. - University of South Carolina Aiken women's
basketball player Hannah DeGraffinreed was named the South Carolina
Education Lottery USC Aiken Athletic Department Student-Athlete of
the Week on Mar. 5, 2012.
DeGraffinreed concluded last week by being named the Peach Belt
Conference Tournament Most Valuable Player.
In leading USC Aiken to its first Peach Belt Conference
Tournament crown, DeGraffinreed averaged 16.7 points per game in
USC Aiken's three games in the tournament.
DeGraffinreed hit 54.3 percent (19-for-35) of her field goal
attempts over the course of the three games.
The senior forward from Raleigh, N.C. scored in double figures
in all three games.
