AIKEN, S.C. – The University of South Carolina and Virginia are tied for the lead after two rounds of play at the 15th Annual Cleveland Golf Palmetto Intercollegiate at the 6,617-yard par 70 Palmetto Golf Club.
South Carolina (286-284) and Virginia (292-278) both concluded Monday's two rounds of play with team scores of 570.
The score of 570 leaves the duo one stroke ahead of Clemson at 571 (286-285).
Ben Kohles (69-70) of Virginia and Crawford Reeves (69-70) of Clemson are both tied for the individual lead at 139.
Tournament host USC Aiken is presently in 10th place at 590. The nationally 15th-ranked Pacers posted a 295 as a team in both the first and second round.
Two Pacers are currently in the top-25 individually with JP Solis (Morelia, Mexico/Lico Morelia) leading the way. Solis is tied for 16th at 145 (74-71).
USC Aiken's Andrew Ward (York, S.C./Clover) is tied for 22nd individually at 146 (71-75).
The third and final round of the 15th Annual Cleveland Golf Palmetto Intercollegiate will commence at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday.
