Pacer Tennis Drops PBC Road Matches at Columbus State

COLUMBUS, Ga. – The University of South Carolina Aiken tennis teams were unable to knock off nationally-ranked Columbus State in Peach Belt Conference action on Sunday afternoon.

In a battle of top-35 nationally-ranked men's tennis programs, the nationally ninth-ranked Columbus State (7-1, 1-0 PBC) men's tennis team knocked off the nationally 32nd-ranked USC Aiken men's tennis team, 8-1.

The nationally seventh-ranked Columbus State (7-0, 1-0 PBC) women's tennis team bested the USC Aiken women's tennis team, 8-1. 

USC Aiken's men's tennis team is now 4-2 overall on the year. They are presently 0-2 in league play. 

The Pacer women are now an even 4-4 overall. They are 1-2 in Peach Belt Conference play.

The USC Aiken men and women have almost a full two weeks off before next welcoming Belmont Abbey to the USC Aiken Tennis Complex on Saturday, Mar.17. Things are slated to get underway at 12 p.m.
