MORROW, Ga. – The University of South Carolina Aiken women's tennis team picked up its second straight win over a nationally-ranked league foe in a 5-4 Peach Belt Conference victory over No. 11 Clayton State on Saturday at the Laker Courts.
USC Aiken (10-5, 4-3 PBC) has now won six of its last seven matches.
The Pacers assured themselves of a win over Clayton State (5-9, 4-3 PBC) by taking four of the six singles flights. USC Aiken garnered wins at No. 2, No. 4, No. 5 and No. 6 singles.
The Pacer women will next close their week by facing off against North Georgia in Dahlonega, Ga. on Sunday, Apr. 1. The match is slated to get underway at 1 p.m.
