SAVANNAH, Ga. – The University of South Carolina Aiken tennis teams were unable to upset the nationally-ranked Armstrong Atlantic State tennis teams in Peach Belt Conference action on Sunday afternoon at Bacon Park.
In a battle of nationally-ranked teams, the 32nd-ranked USC Aiken men (5-3, 0-3 PBC) fell 9-0 to third-ranked Armstrong (14-0, 5-0 PBC).
The USC Aiken women's tennis team (8-5, 2-3 PBC) had its four-match winning streak snapped in its 9-0 loss to the Armstrong women (12-0, 7-0 PBC) on Sunday.
The USC Aiken men will next welcome rival Augusta State to the USC Aiken Tennis Complex at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Mar. 27.
The USC Aiken women will next travel to Augusta, Ga. to face off against rival Augusta State at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, Mar. 29.
