COLUMBIA, S.C. – The University of South Carolina Aiken
cross country team competed in its second track meet of the spring
on Saturday at the Weems Baskins Relays.
The event was hosted by the University of South Carolina.
The Pacers placed in a variety of events over
the course of the Weems Baskins Relays.
Peach Belt Conference All-Conference
performer Keely Gillespie (Belvedere, S.C./North Augusta) claimed
the top finish of the day for the Pacers as she finished
31st in the women's 1,500-meter run with a time of
5:17.08. Teammate Kayla Millholland (Hampton, Ga./Luella) ended the
1,500-meter run in 42nd with a time of 5:36.77.
Brittany May (Augusta, Ga./Greenbrier)
finished 19th in the women's pole vault.
USC Aiken will next compete in the Terrier
Relays on Saturday, April 7 in Spartanburg, S.C. The event is
hosted by Wofford.
