EATONTON, Ga. – The University of South Carolina Aiken golf team finished the Bobcat Intercollegiate at the par-70, 6,847-yard Cuscowilla Golf Resort on Lake Oconee in 14^th place.

The Pacers carded a three-round team total score of 871 (285-287-299) to acquire sole possession of 14^th. 

Matt Atkins (Owensboro, Ky./Henderson State) was the top Pacer finisher, ending his efforts in a tie for eighth at 3-under 207 (67-70-70). Atkins now has three top-10 finishes in the 2011-12 season.

The only other Pacer in the top-50 in the event was Gaines Milliner (Aiken, S.C./Aiken). Playing as an individual, Milliner concluded the tournament tied for 44^th at 219. He posted a 73 in all three rounds.

Barry claimed the team title with a three-round team score of 833 (274-280-279).

Lynn's Daniel Young collected individual medalist honors with a three-round score of 202 (69-65-68).

Nationally 15th-ranked USC Aiken will next compete in the Bearcat Invitational on Monday, Mar. 26 and Tuesday, Mar. 27. The two-day 54-hole tournament hosted by Lander will be held at the Greenwood Country Club in Greenwood, S.C.
