AIKEN, S.C. – The University of South Carolina Aiken tennis teams picked up dominating wins over Benedict on Thursday at the USC Aiken Tennis Complex.
The nationally 32nd-ranked USC Aiken men (4-1) earned a 9-0 win over the Benedict men (1-5), while the USC Aiken women (4-3) picked up a 7-0 win over the Benedict women.
The Benedict women (0-3) only had five available student-athletes so the Pacers were not able to try and claim the win at No. 6 singles and No. 3 doubles in the women's match.
The Pacers have made a couple changes to their weekend schedule.
Due to impending inclement weather in Americus, Ga. on Saturday, March 3, USC Aiken and Georgia Southwestern have postponed their scheduled conference men's and women's tennis matches until 2 p.m. on Sunday, April 15.
USC Aiken's scheduled 11 a.m. road matches with Columbus State on Sunday, March 4 have now been pushed back to start at 1 p.m.
