AUGUSTA, Ga. – The nationally 30th-ranked and Peach Belt Conference eighth-seeded University of South Carolina Aiken men's tennis team concluded its season with a 5-0 loss to league top-seeded and national No. 2 Armstrong Atlantic State in the Peach Belt Conference Tournament Quarterfinals at the Newman Tennis Center.
USC Aiken finishes its 2011 season with an 8-10 record overall. Armstrong Atlantic State is now 22-0 overall.
The Pirates advance on to the semifinal round of the 2011 PBC Men's Tennis Tournament where they will square off against the winner of the #4 Columbus State-#5 Francis Marion match at 5 p.m. on Saturday, April 16.
