AUGUSTA, Ga. – University of South Carolina Aiken
volleyball players Shannon Byers and Samantha Lukralle were both
selected to the 2011 Peach Belt Conference Volleyball
All-Conference Team on Saturday, Nov. 12, 2011.
Both players were Second-Team choices.
The league office announced the All-Conference selections at a
banquet on Saturday morning as part of the 2011 Peach Belt
Conference Volleyball Championship at Christenberry Fieldhouse in
Augusta, Ga.
The 2011 All-Conference team was selected by the league's
head coaches. Coaches were not permitted to vote for their own
players.
Byers is now a three-time All-Peach Belt Conference selection. She
was also a Second-Team choice as a freshman in 2009 and a
First-Team selection as a sophomore in 2010.
Byers is now one of only five Pacer volleyball players to be named
All-Conference three or more times. USC Aiken Athletic Hall of Fame
member Kim Merrill is the only Pacer volleyball player to be named
All-Conference four times.

year as she was chosen the 2010 Peach Belt Conference Libero of the
Year.

digs per set. She finished the 2011 season with 16
double-doubles.
