AIKEN, S.C. – University of South Carolina Aiken
volleyball student-athlete Samantha Lukralle was recently selected
to the Capital One Academic NCAA Division II Women's
Volleyball District Three First-Team.
The Capital One Academic All-America program is presented by
CoSIDA.
As a First-Team member, Lukralle is now eligible for Academic
All-America consideration.
The reigning Peach Belt Conference Libero of the Year, Lukralle
is leading the Pacers in digs in the 2011 season with 457. She is
averaging 4.71 digs per set.
Lukralle's digs total is good for sixth in the Peach Belt
Conference.
A junior out of Lindenhurst, N.Y., Lukralle has recorded 23
double-digit dig matches in 2011.
Lukralle begins the Peach Belt Conference Volleyball Tournament
with a school second-best 1,614 digs in her career. The total
places her eighth presently in digs in a career in Peach Belt
Conference history.
In the classroom, Lukralle boasts a 3.95 grade point average as
a Nursing major.
