Box Score MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – The University of South Carolina Aiken women's soccer team dropped its final road match of the year, 6-0, to Georgia College on Wednesday evening.
Five different players scored for Georgia College (5-12, 4-5 PBC) in the match with only Ashley Veilleux scoring more than once. Veilleux concluded the match with two goals.
Jamie Colcord finished the match with two assists for the Bobcats.
Georgia College ended the match with a 26-8 shot advantage. The Bobcats owned an 8-2 corner kick advantage.
Caroline Gillespie (Greenville, S.C./JL Mann) led USC Aiken (4-11, 1-8 PBC) in its loss with four shots. Two of her four shots were on goal.
Melissa Westphal (Springfield, Va./Paul VI Catholic) played the final 63:48 of the match for the Pacers in goal, saving seven Georgia College shots.
The final match of the season for USC Aiken will be at the "Pacer Pit" on Saturday, Oct. 29 against Clayton State. The 5 p.m. match will serve as Senior Day for the Pacers.
