Box Score COLUMBUS, Ga. – The University of South Carolina Aiken women's soccer team fell 3-0 to Columbus State on Saturday afternoon at the Walden Soccer Complex.
Columbus State (12-3-2, 6-2-1 PBC) scored the first goal of the match in the seventh-minute when Jackie Eillis scored off an assist from Ashton Ziadie.
Neither team would score the rest of the half with the two teams entering intermission with the score 1-0 in favor of Columbus State.
Stephanie Lowery scored the second goal of the match in the 54th-minute. Columbus State's final goal of the match came in the 60th-minute off the boot of Jaci Carithers.
Columbus State owned a 26-2 shot advantage in the match. The Cougars held an 11-0 corner kick advantage.
Alli Edens (Lexington, S.C. /College of Charleston) made seven saves for the Pacers in the match. Columbus State goalkeeper Mary Mancin was forced into two saves as both of the Pacer shots in the match were on frame.
USC Aiken (4-10, 1-7 PBC) will next head to Milledgeville, Ga. for a match against Georgia College at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 26. The match is USC Aiken's final road match of the regular season.
