AIKEN, S.C. - University of South Carolina Aiken volleyball player Jessica Loper was named the South Carolina Education Lottery USC Aiken Athletic Department Student-Athlete of the Week on Oct. 16, 2011.

In USC Aiken's only match last week, Loper (McDonough, Ga./Eagles Landing Christian) finished with a team-high 10 kills.

Loper also concluded USC Aiken's thrilling 3-2 win over Montevallo on Wednesday, Oct. 12 with a team-best five blocks.

Loper is currently leading the Pacers in the 2011 season with 77 total blocks. She is third on the team with 139 kills.
