2010 Fall Baseball Schedule/Rosters
AIKEN, S.C. - USC Aiken head
baseball coach Kenny Thomas announced recently the plans for the
second annual Cardinal/Navy fall baseball schedule.
"This fall we are going to
once again be unique with our fall baseball schedule," noted
Thomas. "Once again, we're trying to make everything duplicate our
regular season games so our inter-squad games will be very
competitive. We're dividing the teams at the beginning of the fall
season, splitting up the coaches, and going at it for 16
games."
All of the fall baseball
games are scheduled for nine innings with the atmosphere during the
fall contests at Roberto Hernandez Stadium similar to regular
season games in the spring.
The games will be free and
open to the public.
The fall season officially
gets underway on Thursday, Sept. 16. The fall schedule will feature
a Major League Baseball scout day on Tuesday, Sept. 28. The day
will have the current Pacers showing their skills to scouts from a
variety of teams in Major League Baseball. Things are scheduled to
commence at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 28.
