AIKEN, S.C. – University of South Carolina Aiken volleyball player Ashley Farwell was chosen as the South Carolina Education Lottery USC Aiken Athletic Department Student-Athlete of the Week on Sept. 27, 2010.

The sophomore setter led the Pacers last week with 52 assists, 17 digs and four kills.

The Wake Forest, N.C. native finished with 25 assists, eight digs and a kill in USC Aiken's Peach Belt Conference victory over Francis Marion. In USC Aiken's loss to UNC Pembroke, Farwell just missed out on a double-double as she ended her day with 27 assists, nine digs and three kills.

The South Carolina Education Lottery USC Aiken Athletic Department Student Athlete of the Week award honors one student-athlete each week from an in-season sport for their hard work and effort.
