It was Walton's turn in the 18th minute as she scored off a set piece by Jordan McKenzie before Ashley Miller sent the ball into the back of the net off a rebound in the 32nd minute to give Columbus State the 3-0 lead heading into the half.

Stephanie Lowery recorded the lone goal in the second stanza, and final of the game in the 47th minute off a penalty kick. The goal was her eighth of the season.
