USC Aiken's 2009  women's tennis team closed last year with a 9-11 record. The Pacers finished their conference season with a mark of 4-8. The four wins in league play helped the Pacers reach at least four wins in league action for the third time in the last four years.

The Pacers concluded the 2010 year with three student-athletes being named to the 2010 Peach Belt Conference Women's Tennis All-Academic team with Stephanie Humphrey (Harpenden, England/Sir John Lawes) and Brittany Telford (Newmarket, Canada/Huron Heights) earning first team plaudits. Mathilde Grenet (Doumont, France/Lycee George Sand) was chosen to the second team. All three are two-time winners of the award as they were also named All-Academic by the PBC after the 2009 season.

The USC Aiken men's tennis team was ranked in the top 30 by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association for all of the 2010 season. The Pacers were ranked as high as 17th nationally.

Playing one of the toughest schedules in all of NCAA Division II tennis, USC Aiken was able to make its fifth consecutive NCAA regional appearance. The Pacers bowed out in the first round, but still finished the year with a very respectable 11-12 overall record. In the toughest tennis league in all of NCAA Division II, USC Aiken finished with a 2-7 mark in the Peach Belt Conference.

One of the brightest spots for USC Aiken in the 2010 year was the play at No. 1 doubles. Gregory Andrade (Sao Paulo, Brazil/Sergio D'Amorim) and Juan Xavier Ponce (Miami, Fla. /Drury University) were chosen to the Intercollegiate Tennis Association All-America team and they ended the year with an 18-5 record. Ranked as high as seventh nationally, Andrade and Ponce won 11 straight matches at one point during the 2010 season.

USC Aiken's Filipe Garcia (Valinhos, Brazil/Unigrade Valinhos) and Juan Guglielmeti (Mar del Plata, Argentina/Instituto Albert Einstein) were both tabbed to the 2009-10 Peach Belt Conference Men's Tennis All-Academic team. Garcia was tabbed as a first team selection, while Guglielmeti, was placed on the second team.
