Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 PEMBROKE, N.C.--USC Aiken (21-12, 8-6 PBC) picked up a pair of Peach Belt Conference road wins this weekend to close out the 2004 regular season. The Lady Pacers knocked off Francis Marion (19-13, 8-5 PBC) 3-1 on Friday night in Florence and then blanked UNC Pembroke (9-21, 3-11 PBC) 3-0 on Saturday afternoon in Pembroke, N.C. The FMU game scores were 21-30, 30-21, 30-28, and 31-29. The UNCP game scores were 30-27, 31-29, and 30-21. 

Senior captain Jenny Lloyd led the Lady Pacers over the Patriots on Friday with 21 kills, 16 digs, four blocks, and four aces for a match-high 27.0 points. Veronica Seidle added 14 kills and 10 digs hitting .300 while Mandy Gerolstein tallied 11 kills, six blocks, four aces and a .308 hitting percentage. Laura Williams chipped in nine kills and three blocks while setter Rachel Dalitz notched seven kills and 10 digs to go with her 54 assists. Libero Brandi Gayle tied a season-high with 19 digs. 

Lezlie Logan led four Patriots in double figures in kills with 18. Kelly Feber added 13 kills and 14 digs while Michelle Settergren and Jackie Phiel contributed 11 and 10 kills respectively. 

On Saturday, the Lady Pacers improved to 29-7 all-time against UNC Pembroke with the 3-0 win. Lloyd and Gerolstein each recorded 16 kills. Williams added 10 kills and four blocks while Dalitz tallied 44 assists and four aces. Senior Jessica Lane notched a team-high 11 digs. 

Kelly Parker totaled 11 kills, two aces, and a .391 hitting percentage to lead the Lady Braves. Stacy Norton chipped in nine kills and a .429 hitting percentage. 

The 21-12 record represents the most wins since the 2000 squad posted a 24-10 mark. USC Aiken's 8-6 conference record is also the best since the 2000 team was 9-5. With sole possession of fourth place, the Lady Pacers will square off against fifth-seeded USC Upstate on Friday, November 12 in the 2004 Peach Belt Conference Tournament in Savannah, Ga.
