USC Aiken Edged By Southern Wesleyan

Box Score CENTRAL, SC--USC Aiken lost to Southern Wesleyan University, 1-0, Saturday night in Central, S.C. The Pacers fall to 0-2 on the season, while the Warriors improved to 2-3. Andrey Molina's goal 13 minutes into the second period proved to be the game winner.

Molina took the ball on the right side from Chad Perry, beat a defender and finished with a shot past USCA goalkeeper Peter Calabrese (Spring Hill, Fla.). The senior keeper faced 11 shots on goal and stopped all but one.

Mamadou Ndoye (Dakar, Senegal) led USC Aiken with three shots on the night. The Pacers were out shot by Southern Wesleyan, 14-7. Camilo Rodriguez stopped all five shots on goal he faced from USC Aiken in 80 minutes of play.

The Pacers open the home portion of their schedule on Wednesday when they host Presbyterian College at "Pacer Pit" beginning at 7:00 p.m.
