Box Score DAHLONEGA, GA— USC Aiken (1-0) opened their soccer season Tuesday with a 3-0 victory over North Georgia College & State University (0-4) in Dahlonega, GA. The Lady Pacers got two goals from freshman
Melissa Schnoering and a goal from senior
Mandy Nicoli.
USC Aiken limited North Georgia to just eight shots for the game. Goalkeepers
Shannon Hobbs and
Amber Markley combined for the shutout.
Schnoering's first goal came in the 38th minute. Her second goal came in the second half in the 47th minute. Both goals were breakaways and were unassisted.
???????Nicoli closed the scoring for the Lady Pacers with her lone shot of the game in the 60th minute. It also was unassisted.

Julie Padgett led the team with three shots each.
???????USCA improved their record on the season to 1-0. North Georgia dropped to 0-4.
USC Aiken will travel to USC Spartanburg Saturday for their first Peach Belt Conference match of the season. The Lady Pacers will take on the Lady Rifles at 7:00 p.m.
