Box Score JEFFERSON CITY, TN—USC Aiken (1-2) picked up their first win of the season yesterday against Carson-Newman College (0-4) in Jefferson City, TN. The Pacers scored five second half goals to notch the 5-2 win.
Two USCA players scored two goals each.
John Mulroy (1) tied the score for the Pacers when he scored an unassisted goal in the 58th minute. Twelve minutes later
Mulroy (2) put the Pacers ahead when he took a pass from
Mamadou Ndoye and re-directed it into the goal.
Mulroy and
Ndoye switched roles just three minutes later.
Ndoye (2) scored off
Mulroy's pass in the 74th minute for his second goal of the season.
Cameron Butler was the next Pacer to get in on the scoring action. In the 84th minute
Butler (1) scored off an
Adam Williams pass for his first goal of the season.
Butler didn't waste any time going for his second goal of the game and the year. Forty seconds later
Butler (2) sent a
Shawn Ord pass into the goal.
Carson-Newman tacked on another goal in the 87th minute to make the final score 5-2.

Jean-Pascal Bozso played the entire game in goal for the Pacers. He stopped six Carson-Newman shots.
The Pacers will try to even their record when they travel to Presbyterian College Sep. 18 for a 7:00 p.m. match against the Blue Hose.
