Box Score MT. VERNON, GA.--USC Aiken defeated Brewton Parker College, 2-1, yesterday in Mt. Vernon, Ga. The Pacers improved to 4-6-0 on the season and remained 0-4-0 in the PBC. Brewton Parker's record fell to 1-10-1.
Mamadou Ndoye's fourth goal of the season in the second period proved to be the winning goal as the Pacers held off a late attack by the Barons.
David Bullard started of the scoring with an unassisted goal about 15 minutes into the first half. The freshman's breakaway goal from the left side beat the Brewton Parker goalie.
The Barons tied the game with Stuart Fletcher's penalty kick that beat Pacer goalie
Jean-Pascal Bozso on the right side.
Ndoye's game winning goal came about 10 minutes into the second period. The sophomore from Dakar, Senegal took an
Andre Joseph pass and headed it into the goal.
The Pacers out shot Brewton Parker, 8-3, and held the edge in corner kicks, 4-3.
Joseph led USCA with four shots.
???????Bozso played the entire game in goal for the Pacers. He had two saves and allowed one goal, improving his goals against average on the season to 1.54
The Pacers will return to action on Thursday when they travel to Atlanta Ga., for a 5:30 p.m. match against Morehouse College.
