Box Score AIKEN, SC--USC Aiken's women's soccer team tied the University of Montevallo, 2-2, today in Aiken, S.C. The Lady Pacers' unbeaten streak reached six games and their record on the season moved to 6-4-3. The Lady Falcons moved to 6-7-1 on the season. USCA freshman goalkeeper
Amber Markley's shutout streak ended at 418 minutes and 69 seconds.
The game remained scoreless until four minutes left in the first period. Senior,
Kelley Shemansky (2) scored off a
Jodi Kulinitch (5) pass to put the Lady Pacers up 1-0 at intermission.
Julie Padgett (5) also assisted on the goal.
Five minutes into the second period Montevallo's Cissi Wikstrom beat
Markley from the left side, ending the freshman's shutout streak.
The Lady Pacers answered six minutes later when
Kulinitch scored her sixth goal of the season off a pass from
Mandy Nicoli.
With 26 minutes left in regulation, Alissa Thurmond tied the game again for the Lady Falcons with her seventh goal of the season.
USCA out shot Montevallo, 21-18, and held the edge in shots on goal, 15-13.
Melissa Schnoering led the Lady Pacers with seven shots. Peach Belt Conference Player of the Week
Jen Mascarin had five shots in the game.

Next up for the Lady Pacers is a dip back into Peach Belt Conference action on Oct. 23, when they host Francis Marion at 5:00 p.m. The match will be played at the "Pacer Pit" on the campus of USCA.
