HICKORY, N.C. – The USC Aiken women's soccer team dropped a 3-2 overtime decision at Bears Field Tuesday afternoon.

The match-winning goal was scored by Sheila Murphy 6:01 into the first overtime. The match had been suspended on Aug. 26^th due to lightning with the Lady Pacers holding a 2-1 lead at halftime.

Lenoir-Rhyne improved to 7-9-2 on the season while USC-Aiken fell to 5-7-2.

The Bears tied it up at 2 when Keneika Gaines scored right in front of the net off an assist from Murphy in the 71^st minute. Murphy finished the game with a goal and two assists.
