Christy Cousins sored two goals to lead USC Aiken over Newberry in women's soccer action on Wednesday in Aiken.
Cousins notched her 13
th goal of the season about 20 minutes into the second half, which ended up being the game winner and then nine minutes later found the back of the net for her 14
th goal of the season. Cousins is currently fifth in Division II with 3.38 points per game average and tied for sixth with a 1.50 goals per game average.

Shaela Linn scored USCA's only goal of the first half (
Bridget Brennan) to give the Lady Pacers a 1-0 lead at halftime. Then, Cousins took control for USCA in the second half.
USCA's defense held tight again as they held Newberry to only on goal and seven shots. That marks the seventh game USCA has held an opponent to one or less goals in the game. USCA recorded 18 shots on the day.
