Box Score 2 AIKEN, S.C. – The USC Aiken men's soccer team battled Piedmont College to a 1-1 tie in a non-conference game on Sunday in Aiken. The game was called at the end of regulation due to darkness. USCA is now 5-11-2 and Piedmont is 8-7-2.
USCA's lone goal was scored by junior
Brian Wilson on a direct kick in the 59
th minute. The goal was his fifth of the season and he leads USCA with 22 points on the season. USCA outshot the Lions 15-9 for the game.
The Pacers will host Wingate on Thursday at 2 p.m.
In women's action Kelly Mitchell scored two goals for Piedmont College in the final nine minutes to down USCA 2-1. USCA's goal was scored by
Kelly Veas in the 74
th minute of the game. The Lady Pacers were outshot 22-10 for the game. USCA falls to 9-4 and Piedmont improves to 9-4-1.
USCA will host Converse on Wednesday at 4 pm in Aiken.
