AIKEN, S.C. – The USC Aiken women's soccer team just could not get anything going on Sunday against Carson-Newman, who posted a 7-0 victory. The game was played at the Pacer Pit in Aiken under pouring down rain.
The weather conditions were so bad the game was called at the 74:30 mark in the second half.
Kori Linebarger led Carson-Newman's attack with two goals on the afternoon. Megan Hunt also chipped in a goal and two assists for the Lady Eagles.
Carson-Newman outshot USCA21-1 on the afternoon.
The Lady Pacers will conclude their season on the road the last three games of the season at Newberry, North Florida and Rollins College.
