Corey Hendren begins his fifth season as an assistant coach at USC Aiken.

He coached first-team all-conference selection Anyeuri Castillo. Hendren helped lead the Pacers to a fourth-place finish in the PBC.

He coached first-team all-district and all-conference performer Faison Brock in 2019-20 in addition to two-time Elite 15 award winner Kyle Tackeberry. Hendren helped guide USC Aiken to a fourth-place finish in the PBC and a winning record for the fourth consecutive season.

He helped the Pacers to a berth in the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2014 as the No. 3 seed in the Southeast Region during the 2018-19 campaign. Hendren guided the team to a No. 4 national ranking. He coached a pair of all-region and first-team all-conference selections in Xzavier Barmore and Ty'lik Evans - while Evans shattered the school and conference record with an NCAA Division II leading 125 steals. CoachStat.Net listed him as the top assistant coach (under 35) in Division II and Division III in the Southeast Region (NC, SC, TN, LA, MS, AL, GA and FL). The NABC also labeled Hendren as one of the top 30 coaches under the age of 30

During his first year, Hendren helped coach the squad to a fifth-place finish in the PBC. He coached two all-conference standouts in Doniel Dean and Markus Terry.

Hendren spent the previous three years as the head coach at the University of South Carolina Salkehatchie before coming to USC Aiken.

The 2014-15 Region X Coach of the Year led his squad to the runner-up position in Region X that same season. A two-time district runner-up, Hendren was the 2015 Collentonian Coach of the Year.

During his three seasons with USC Salkehatchie, Hendren recruited and coached 13 players that went on to sign and play at four-year institutions, including three at the Division I level.

Hendren guided the program to an undefeated home mark during his last season, posting the most wins in one season at the institution. During his time there, he recruited and coached a pair of All-Americans and five all-region selections.

Hendren was a four-year standout at Milligan College. He was a three-time academic AAC all-conference selection and graduated with honors in 2014.
