AIKEN, S.C. - The Hutson-Etherredge Companies and Auto-Owners Insurance USCA Student-Athlete of the Week is volleyball standout
Alli Bishop.
A native of Chesterfield, Mo., Bishop guided the Pacers to an undefeated record at the USCA Invitational.
The right-side hitter opened the weekend with a double-double against Carson-Newman. In the five-set thriller, she posted 16 kills, 14 digs and added five blocks for a career-high 20 points.
In the five-set win over Lee, Bishop erupted for a career-high 22 points. She added four digs and three blocks. She wrapped up the weekend with a 15-kill, three-block effort in the sweep of North Greenville. Bishop hit .333 in the contest.
Bishop is averaging a career-high 3.91 kills per set. She's also recording career-highs in attack percentage (.285), digs per set (2.04), blocks per set (0.83) and points per set (4.46).
Bishop is among the PBC leaders in kills (second), points per set (second), hitting percentage (sixth) and blocks (sixth).
