AIKEN, S.C. – The Hutson-Etherredge Companies and Auto-Owners Insurance USC Aiken Student-Athlete of the Week is women's cross country standout Tess Studley.

Studley, a native of Summerville, S.C., shattered the school record in the 5k.

At the PBC Championship, Studley finished 22^nd after posting a time of 19:16.4. The mark eclipsed the previous school record by 18 seconds.

Studley was the fourth-fastest freshman at the postseason event and was USC Aiken's top runner.  

The Hutson-Etherredge Companies and Auto-Owners Insurance USC Aiken Athletic Department Student-Athlete of the Week honors one student-athlete each week from an in-season sport for their hard work and effort.
