University of South Carolina Aiken women’s basketball standout Emily Waters has been named the Hutson-Etherredge Companies and Auto-Owners Insurance USC Aiken Athletic Department Student-Athlete of the Week for the week ending Nov. 19, 2017.

Waters, a sophomore from Villa Ricon, Ga.., led the Pacers to a 2-0 week.

In the win at No. 25 Benedict, Waters accounted for eight points and two blocks to go along with an assist.

Against Paine, the forward/center poured in a team-best 17 points while snagging a career-high 13 rebounds. For good measure, Waters had three assists, a block and a steal.

It marked her second career double-double effort.

For the week, Waters averaged 12.5 points and 6.5 rebounds. She chipped in two assists and 1.5 blocks per game.
