AIKEN, S.C. - University of South Carolina Aiken softball standout
Brianna Dow has been named the South Carolina Education Lottery USC Aiken Student-Athlete of the Month for March.
Dow, a sophomore from Camden, S.C., guided the Pacers to three wins on the shortened month.
She led the team with a .600 batting average in the four games she played while earning three starts. Dow posted a team-high 13 total bases and slugged 1.300.
She accounted for six hits in 10 at bats. Three of the hits went for extra bases, including a pair of round-trippers and a double.
Dow crossed home plate a team-high five times and her four RBI were second most on the squad.
The South Carolina Education Lottery USC Aiken Athletic Department Student-Athlete of the Month award honors one student-athlete each month from an in-season sport for their hard work and effort. Each month during the 2019-20 athletic year one winner will be chosen from an in-season sport.
