USC Aiken Puts Together Strong Showing at Terrier Relays
SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The University of South Carolina Aiken women’s cross country team competed in its third track meet of the spring this weekend at the Terrier Relays on the campus of Wofford.
USC Aiken put together a strong showing at the Terrier Relays.
Keely Gillespie (Belvedere, S.C./North Augusta) acquired her best finish of the spring in the 1,500-meter run, ending her efforts in third with a time of 5:06.55.
The Pacers also finished strong in the team events, as Gillespie along with teammates Kayla Millholland (Hampton, Ga./Luella), Brittany May (Augusta, Ga./Greenbrier) and Alexis Harvin (Las Animas, Colo./Las Animas) claimed fifth place in the Distance Medley with a time of 14:28.94.
May also finished third in the pole vault.
USC Aiken will next close out its spring track campaign at the Augusta State Distance Challenge at Westside High School in Augusta, Ga. on Saturday, April 14.
