USC Aiken Ranked 18th in Latest Golf World/Nike Division II National Poll

NEW YORK – The University of South Carolina Aiken golf team is ranked 18th in the latest Golf World/Nike Golf Division II College Coaches’ Poll. 

USC Aiken is one of five Peach Belt Conference teams ranked in the latest top-25.

UNC Pembroke is the highest ranked PBC school at No. 13. Georgia Southwestern is 16th. Georgia College is 21st and Armstrong Atlantic State is 24th

Barry is the nation’s current No. 1 team.

USC Aiken has played in four tournaments this spring, finishing as high as second as a team at the Magnolia Invitational at the par-71, 6,843-yard Orangeburg Country Club. 

The Pacers have two tournaments next week.

USC Aiken will first travel to Greenwood, S.C. to play in the Bearcat Invitational on Monday, Mar. 26 and Tuesday, Mar. 27. The two-day 54-hole tournament hosted by Lander will be held at the Greenwood Country Club in Greenwood, S.C. 

The Pacers will then close the week by playing in the 54-hole Insperity Augusta State Invitational at the Forest Hills Golf Club in Augusta, Ga. on Saturday, Mar. 31 and Sunday, Apr. 1.
