Carmon and Dobbins Chosen to PBC All-Tournament Team

AIKEN, S.C. – USC Aiken’s Stephen Carmon and Cory Dobbins were selected to the 2010 Peach Belt Conference Baseball Championship All-Tournament team as announced by the league office at the conclusion of the event at Roberto Hernandez Stadium on Sunday evening.

A native of Camden, S.C., Carmon played brilliantly in the field with 10 assists and five putouts. The Pacer shortstop had nary an error in the Pacers’ two games. At the dish, Carmon was 4-for-12 (.333) with two RBIs and two runs scored. He acquired five total bases.

Dobbins dealt 11 innings on the hill for the Pacers in the championship. Dobbins struck out 10 batters in the two games in which in he went 1-1. In his final two games as a Pacer pitcher, Dobbins held his opposition to a .220 batting average.
