University of South Carolina Aiken student-athletes come from all over the world and from all walks of life. 

Dakota Curtis, a redshirt-sophomore on the women’s soccer team, has had another major influence in her life aside from soccer.

A native of Onondaga, Mich., Curtis was a stellar soccer player at Springport H.S. However, she also showed animals competitively.

Curtis recently sat down with teammate Amanda Giordano to discuss how she got into her unique endeavor.
